Advanced Public Notice – Loan

Public Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Public Notice Policy Bylaw No 2016-01 that the Village of Craven will be discussing borrowing money for the Municipal portion of a grant at the next Council Meeting held on February 13, 2024.

This project involves the following components:

  • Install two new water supply wells complete with pipeworks, electrical, instrumentation, controls and fencing;
  • Decommission existing wells, as applicable;
  • Add new water treatment process complete with chemical addition, pipeworks, electrical instrumentation and controls to meet provincial and federal regulatory requirements;
  • Water Treatment Plant building expansion;
  • Engineering, Hydrogeologist, Geotechnical and Project Management for the project.

Any concerns regarding this should be brought forward by letter to the office or by request prior to February 8th, 2024 to be a delegation at our meeting to address council directly.

December 31, 2023 is the deadline to have your 2023 property taxes paid to the Municipal Office.

To avoid a 10% penalty on your 2023 property tax, be sure to have your payment in by this date.

Payments can be made using the following methods:

Through your bank as an Etransfer sent to villageofcraven@sasktel.net; Cash payment made at the Municipal Office; Cheque made out to Village of Craven.

There is a drop box at the office door for your convenience, should you need to leave your cheque with us after hours.

The Village Office will be Closed Dec. 25th-26th and Dec. 29th-Jan. 1st.
